lanvin's new spring summer ads for 2011 shot by steven meisel are nostalgic of photographs i have seen hot by helmut newton. thoughts? the colors and fabrics shown have a late 70's feel. the over charaterized dominant women in lanvin's ads are a less objectified modern version than those ladies portrayed in newton's works.
